We pride ourselves on being more than 'just a B&B'. We help our guests truly experience the wonder of these valleys, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We have rapidly become a destination for experience based adventure in mid-Wales & Southern Snowdonia.

Bolt-ons are a selection of activities using local expert indie micro-businesses and charities, to be added on to an existing booking at The Old Vicarage B&B. (In contrast to our Experience Holidays which combine accommodation and activities into a complete package) We utilise our relationships and knowledge of the area to get exclusive tailored versions of existing packages or completely new experiences for you to enjoy.

Private Interactive Donkey Experience

Activities to include the opportunity to bond with a dedicated donkey for the day, you get to choose, although the donkey may choose you! The day starts with a little donkey meditation, once you’ve had a chance to meet the herd you can learn to catch, handle and groom your donkey, head out on a donkey foraging walk or spend some time with your donkey in the woods, learn a little donkey massage, donkey meditation and may be a little donkey aromatherapy! On the full-day experience you may even choose to take a hilltop walk with your donkey. Each experience can be tailor made to take advantage of your skills.

We know space in the car can be a challenge when coming away on holiday, so by popular request we now offer picnic set hire. This includes two large comfortable picnic chairs,  a popup table, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, napkins.
